WELCOME
The Malaysian Association of Pro Bono Accountancy (MAPBA) is a mission-driven membership organisation of finance professionals who are looking to dedicate their time, effort and most importantly, their skilled talent in the field of accountancy, to the organisations who need them most.

The Malaysian Association of Pro Bono Accountancy (MAPBA) mission is to maximize access to non-profit organisations with limited resources access to pro-bono qualified accounting expertise and an excellent way for accountants to give back to the society.

Our partners, which are a blend of religious institutions and schools, are all doing amazing work to administer the Dakwah role in the community and grooming new generations equipped with both spiritual and worldly knowledge, but due to limited resources are unable to access vital financial management training.

The main focus of MAPBA is to serve as a platform for accountants to connect with charities, religious institution and not-for-profit organisations - to provide assistance beyond crunching numbers to bench marking, auditing and business advice, helping organisations to meet governance obligations and providing guidance on general business literacy.

"On every person’s joints or small bones (i.e. fingers and toes), there is sadaqah (charity) every day the sun rises. Doing justice between two people is sadaqah; assisting a man to mount his animal, or lifting up his belongings onto it is sadaqah; a good word is sadaqah; every step you take towards prayer is sadaqah; and removing harmful things from pathways is sadaqah.”(Narrated by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim)
